Working alongside Team Shan (a group specifically advocating for breast health education for younger people) and Dense Breasts Canada, I was able to have a hand in updating and editing some lesson plans to meet the grade 11 Health and Physical Education curriculum in Ontario.

These lessons provide students with an awareness of breast and testicular cancer in teenagers and young adults. Students will gain knowledge of the disease(s) and factors to enhance their personal health choices. This lesson also helps students to understand current knowledge of cancer, and environmental factors, risk reduction, and early detection for breast and testicular cancer
