The Depth of Shine explores the complex relationship between vulnerability, resilience, and the beauty that emerges through our lived experiences.
Created from the form of a real human body, this luminous sculpture transforms familiar anatomy into something almost otherworldly. Its textured, iridescent surface catches and refracts light, revealing shifting shades of blue, violet, and turquoise that change with the viewer's perspective.
Beneath its shimmering exterior lies a celebration of the body's complexity: imperfect, ever-changing, and worthy of admiration.
The work invites viewers to look beyond the surface, challenging conventional understandings of beauty and offering a gentle reminder that our brilliance is not dependent on perfection.
Sometimes, the most extraordinary beauty is revealed when we allow ourselves to be seen in a different light.
