Casts from real bodies are painted in a sweeping spectrum, from tender pastels to bold primaries, each colour representing not just pride flags, but the layered and intersecting identities within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Though uniform in shape, every nipple tells a different story—of race, gender, queerness, visibility, and resistance. This work speaks to the quiet solidarity found in being “othered,” and the power of showing up exactly as you are.
By lining these forms areola to areola, this piece affirms: sameness is not required for unity. In difference, we find our strength. In difference, we build our collective pride.
